This course is designed for people who may encounter Hybrid and Electric vehicles at their place of work and require safety awareness.

It contains information and knowledge of the dangers surrounding hybrid/electric vehicles and the precautions to avoid potential injury.

It is suitable for business owners and managers, sales, aftersales and parts staff as well as non-technical people such as reception and event staff and vehicle cleaning and preparation staff.

It is also suitable for fleet managers and personnel, vehicle recovery and vehicle dismantlers, vehicle damage assessors, insurance companies, vehicle hire companies and electric/hybrid professional vehicle drivers.

At the end of this course you will be able to recognise, understand and describe the types of electric/hybrid vehicles available, state how to identify electric/hybrid vehicles, give examples of the electric/hybrid vehicles that are currently available and identify alternative fuel source vehicles.

This is an Institute of the Motor Industry accredited course for which learners will receive an IMI certificate of completion.
